"Rescinding that program "wouldn't make sense to the taxpayers," Williamson said."
Translation- it would eliminate revenue....taking the moral high ground and the fiscal low....bunch of hypocrits. Let's try focusing on Columbus proper.

The Arizona Immigration laws makes total sense! If you are in the United States legally you have nothing to fear. I wish the State of Ohio would adopt the same law. I'm tired of my tax dollars being spread too thin to support people here with their hands out for government programs that they legally don't qualify for. The governments answer is to take more of my taxes. Lets fix the root of the problem and send illegals back where they came from. They can apply for citizenship the proper way. Arizona looking like a better place to live my retirement years.

Ban travel but not ban the income made from the red light cameras by a company in Arizona. Clownman can talk the talk but won't walk the walk.

He is only banning travel by city workers to attend conferences there paid by city dollars. One can still attend a Buckeye game in Arizona and vacation there. Our tax dollars will not fund anyone attending an event in Arizona. In addition, before people have a knee jerk reaction to Coleman I suggest you look at the law in AZ carefully and see if you want to live under it or your children.

Vote Coleman out! What if other states don't agree with our smoking ban? Or our tax laws? How about banning anything to Oregon for their assisted suicide law? Or California for medical marijuana? Where does it end?????

Wake up Coleman, overwhelmingly, Americans are for this law. I guess Coleman is against a state law that mirrors the federal one. What an idiot.

This is stupid. The law for immigration into Mexico is tougher than what AZ did. They are just enforcing the laws the US has on the books.

I am looking to travel to AZ if nothing else, just to support the Freedom that we are all supposed to enjoy as Americans.

This is nothing but politics. Coleman is the one that doesn't agree - why should he make the decision on which places to exclude. 92% of Americans favor deporting illegal immigrants. Why is Coleman supporting a group of people that have no ties to this county and are not legal citizens? They broke the law and they should be punished by returning home. Supporting a bunch of people who think they are above the law does not build a strong community.

Well this is an interesting take. Is this to imply that some city workers might possibly be illegal? Huh. If not, then what's the big deal. You travel to Arizona.. you show your credentials.. you're legal you get in. I don't understand the ban except that it's because he doesn't support it. Good going Coleman. Now you look as sneaky and devious as you ever have!!

Are you kidding? Nothing to hide, nothing to worry about. They are worried about the Police abusing this but DON'T give them a reason. I will be happy to go through the inconvienience if it means a safer border. Get a National ID Card and be done with it. Lets worry about our own State first before we start sticking our nose in other states affairs
