You never know if there is some emergency. If it was then I would pull over and call them. If not I would continue until I got to where I am going then I would get back with them. As for ask my dad ... I wish I could!**** hole! I don't think it is polite to call someone names when they state to ask a parent something, not knowing that a parent passed. Sorry about your loss. Keep the phone in your purse/pocket wherever- and drive. That's all I am saying, and it is the same thing I tell my daughter(who recieves DOZENS of texts a day). There is no emergency that is worth jepordizing safety on the roads.

It's funny when someone plays the "dead relative" card in an argument. While not as powerful as the race card it is still hard to beat. Your question was legitimate even if the parent is deceased. Using Dad's death to deflect the question is disingenuous. I am sure if Outraged thought about it they would know how Dad would answer.

I understood what he was saying ... I just think he was being really rude abut getting his point across. I am 47 years old ... I have never taking for granted my ability to drive. I have a very safe record ... all I was saying is there are all kinds of distractions that go on while people are driving and you have to be able to pay focus on just the driving while behind the wheel. As for the "Dead Relative" card ... I was just stating a fact. It was he who assumed things. 1. He thought I was young.(Thank you) 2. He assumed my father was still around to give advice. 3. My dad was never around to give advise ... so now you are assuming. Oops am I play the father not around card. Sorry ... I assumed you guys knew everything. Ok here goes the race card ... I am white. But what if I did say I was Black, Chinese or Mexican how would that have made a difference. Now what?

I had you pegged as an an overweight black female, multiple kids by multiple fathers, all of whom are now long gone. A drinking and maybe a drug problem. Pregnant (again). In debt with no way of ever being otherwise, on the dole with a new no account boyfriend living with you now, but not your latest baby's daddy, who whips on your kids when you aren't around and takes money from your purse when you aren't looking. Finally 2" long finger nails that make it impossible for you to do anything resembling work, hence the government assistance. Good enough?

She didn't state whether or not dad was dead. Maybe he's in prison/overseas or whatever.

Picktown resident, poor grammar and spelling, easily aggravated. I'm still working on it but I think you might be a Grovetucky transplant. Am I right?

In today's politicly correct enviornment "SUV" carries a stigma that other vehicles do not or maybe its the myth they are considered more dangerous and more evironmently unfriendly.... You are a person that likes to make themselves feel better by putting other people down. You were probably the school bully wasn't you. I would like to know where you live ... because I don't believe that where you live makes a person any better than someone else. I have friends and family that live in both places you are talking about. But I think it would be funny if you were my neighbor. Better yet it would be even funnier if you knew me in person and didn't even know it.

Hey, Grovetucky, I thought you were done talking to me. That IS what you said. "I am done talking with you all ..." Did you get lonesome? Or did you just want to show us more examples of poor grammar?
