Yep. Florida was sucking in the last few minutes of the first half.

Sadly, no alcohol or tobacco products on the card LOL.
Though the nice thing is that when you buy liquor at Kroger or Giant Eagle, you can charge it and earn points that way. The smaller liquor stores don't usually let you charge things.

Yawn. They have to find something to slow UK down I guess. This game is a snoozer. 19 point lead and 9 to go? I'm not paying much attention to it.

C'mon...what is it with the SEC this year? They can't challenge Kentucky?

LMAO!!

Hate to say it, but hopefully Syracuse can at least give 'em a challenge if they meet up in the tournament. This is unbelievable. Not even a close game recently.

I have an absolute limit. Ask Glitter. Her hubby bought me a 4th beer on Sunday (was there quite a while, like 5 hours). I left the soldier standing, didn't even touch it. Felt bad about the "alcohol abuse" (or neglect, whatever the case may be), but the physical limit is there for me. It kicks in. I can't go beyond it without repercussion, usually a nasty headache.
But Glittah...thank you for the beer anyway :) Owe you one.
She's telling the truth. I could care less if you drank it or not, your company is always enjoyable.

You owe me nothing, but I'll gladly accept it :}

I actually used to hang out at Dick's occasionally way back in the day. Haven't been there in years.

It would be kind of fun just to show up, sit at the bar, and try to figure out who is who. But like I said, I don't really have time for that.

Liked the discussion on alcohol of choice when young. MD 20/20, OE 800, Red Bull - horrible beverages that I haven't thought of in years. Today I prefer beer of all types - Bass, Yuengling, Great Lakes Winter, Kentucky Bourban Barrel Ale, Negro Modelo...this list goes on and on.

Bud Light is my go-to beer but, for the most part, can substitue most domestics. I prefer draft when available though Coor Light on draft tastes watered down to me.

It's a cool place, so you agree it would be hard to go incognito there? But, you're always welcome to pretend we don't see you as a person that doesn't usually go :) My fave dive is Leipzig Haus. Everyone knows everyone and it doesn't matter if you haven't been there in months/years, always welcome.

That was a fun conversation. Topix has been extremely mean lately, that was a good diversion of getting back to discussing.

I would love to join you guys some Sunday, but Columbus is sort of far from where I'm at. It's not the drive down which concerns me, but rather the drive back after having a few.
But next weekend we are visiting my son at Wright State, and will be heading back and going through Columbus Sunday. If you are planning a meeting, maybe my wife and I could stop by for a bit.
How are you?

I have a stepson at Wright State.

3 in Ohio State.

4 in college at same time murders the checkbook.

5 months smoke free for me; and that is due to you pushing me.

I had that beer I think at the Winking Lizzard. Maybe that Pub place in Polaris Mall?

sorry....I was not a fan.

I have to now drink gluten free beer. Bud makes one called Red Truck that is pretty good. Hoppy.

Margarita's on the rocks is my new drink; and after a few Rita's a Red Truck to knock the sweet off works great.

I had Super Bowl party to attend; or I would have found Dick's Den.

Not hiding; but timing issue.

Let me know the next party date.

I'm not hiding, either - I'll eventually show up at their government leech/eating disorder parties one of these days.

Will do so. It is difficult on a Sunday let alone Super Bowl Sunday. I'd say we could compare tans, but I think both of ours are a faded memory.
