On the main door to the plant, a sign reads "This Business Employs American Citizens and Legal Residents Only."

Every company should have signs like this(and practice what they preach).

Cover the border with signs saying "This Country Employs American Citizens and Legal Residents Only."

I also find this interesting as I've worked in chicken plants back in 1972 making $6 per hour.
A place called McFarlings,in case you don't believe me. It's still there, they just don't process chickens anymore.

Wonder what the new rate is,lol.

If you were making over $12,000 a year in 1972 in a chicken plant then it's no wonder why they don't process chickens any more. You priced yourself out of the market.

I didn't process myself out of anything. I moved on. McFarlings is still in business and has grown quite a bit, they just stopped processing chickens.

They are teamsters which would explain the pay. lol.

Yeah vital for the big businesses to get even richer.
They refuse to pay a living wage to Americans
so that they can make more money than they will
ever use or spend.

Interesting. All this means is that the employer wants an unfair advantage over legally run businesses by ignoring fair wages and labor laws. Why is this any different than not paying taxes?

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Aries

Your boredom threshold is lower than usual this today so don't be surprised if you start to feel restless. Ideally, you should alter your usual routine and do something totally different, because that will certainly keep you interested in what's going on around you. Watch out if you decide to spend money because you might part with a lot more than you intended.
