Before going to the polls I ask that you seriously consider the following statements made by Barack Obama and friends during the campaign. I realize many will make excuses for each comment, but I am appealing to the open minded person who is willing to recognize the seriously radical ideas of Barack Obama for what they are. Even if you are totally disgusted with the current administration, voting for Barack will make us a country that would be unrecognizable to our founding fathers. The Great Experiment will have ended.

"I think when you spread the wealth it's good for everybody". Barack Obama on distribution of income.

"I would like to raise capital gains taxes for purposes of fairness". Barack Obama on fairness.

"I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment". Barack Obama in reference to high gas prices.

While in a foreign country he apologized for America saying we made "our share of mistakes."

"For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country". Michele Obama on two occassions.

"It's not surprising that they get bitter and they cling to their guns or religion or antithapy toward people who aren't like then or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment to explain their frustrations". Barack Obama on the attitudes of Pennsylvanians.

She is a "typical white woman". Barack Obama on his grandmother's racist feelings. Typical!

We need enough troops so that "we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians". Barack Obama on U.S. troop actions in Afghanistan.

"But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punsished with a baby". Refering to his daughters and the abortion issue. A baby is a mistake?

"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela? They are tiny countries compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose any serious threat to us". What?

When asked if he would meet leaders of hostile nations without preconditions, he said, "I would." Can you say Neville Chamberlain?

I was all about Obama during the primary, believing him to be the breath of fresh air desperately needed to cleanse the corruption in Washington. I was still pro-Obama two months ago.

I think that the first misstep was the "spread the wealth" doctrine. The second was the proposal that the government appropriate 401K's and manage them for us. I feel that McCain is a weak candidate for this point in time but I do like Governor Palin.I believe that she has gotten a bad rap from the press which seems determined to decide the election for us. Her lack of experience is commonly cited as her major flaw. Senator OBama's lack of executive experience never seems to come into play.

In effect, I believe we are faced with poor choices on both sides and will vote for the side that will hopefully do the least amount of harm to the WORKING American.
