They would be ALOT easier to catch if political correctness didn't stand in the way. The rights and welfare of the many, should outweigh the rights and welfare of the one. This should serve as evidence of that. Especially with this guys history. This should also show that if our ELECTED OFFICIALS. I won't mention any names SHERIFF DUPNIK did their JOBS we would be safer too!

Trying to "mainstream" the seriously mentally ill does gross disservice to both the ill and to the public. Most often, the mentally ill are left to fend for themselves, and they do a piss poor job of it, at high cost to the rest of Society. Inpatient services actually cost less, on average, than incarceration or rectifying the damage that the seriously ill cause. Both have a Right to protection.
