Following a vegetarian diet significantly reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes in African Americans, according to new research conducted at Loma Linda University and published in the October issue of Nutrition, Metabolism & Cardiovascular Diseases.

Yeah, it's incredible....the drive thru for my bank, looks across the parking lot for an International House of Pancakes, and it is like a livestock exposition....lol....just what they need, pancakes and sugary toppings...lol....Years ago, the wife and i hired a vegetarian moving company.....but, they were too weak to lift anything....lol.... |

I think this should apply to everyone, not just African Americans. Diabetes leads to far worse complications and extra measures should be taken to ensure that the diabetes is in check.
