The 42nd CMA Awards were the worst I have ever seen. The lighting and stage decor was more like a rock concert than the CMA Awards. The entire stage seemed to have fog or smoke from all the lights. The lights kept us from seeing some of the performers! And what's up with the "go go dancers" on the back stage wall? We love country music because it is down to earth and simple. This show was awful. Even the sound was off key for the first 1/4 of the show. Whoever decided to change the Awards show to what we saw tonight needs to be replaced. Bring back our good ole CMA Awards.

We all love Brad Paisley, but let's face it, he is not a good host. He rarely smiled and was dead pan the whole show. Carrie Underwood did an excellent job. We called around to see what others thought and their veiwpoint was the same as ours. Get back to our beloved CMA Awards show and leave all the blinding lighting to the hard rock concerts.
