Should guns be allowed on campus?

as a retired law enforcement officer with 29 years experience I am in favor of law abiding citizens with carry permits carrying thier licensed firearms on campus.I FIRMLY BELIEVE THIS WOULD SAVE MANY LIVES

So, let's see here: How is it that a pizza joint across the street from the campus is seen as 'perfectly safe' for BOTH the armed, and unarmed customers, but the institution of learning is ~not~ seen as such?

Maybe the classes should be conducted at the pizza joint?
