The Senator did state that she would not support a new government funded entitlement program, and that she would support tort reform and removing geographical limitations placed on insurance companies. However, she refused to give either a yes or no answer to whether she would support mandating all members of Congress to be under any new health care bill.

Several times she blamed rising health care costs for the Medicare deficits, which of course add to the national debt. I wish someone would have asked her why anyone would think the government could run a health care program so large it would represent 20% of our entire economy when government can't even run Medicare without bankrupting the country.

We'll see if she'll hold her ground against the Washington marxists that lead her party, or if she will represent the interests of the people of Arkansas.

Only an idiot would ask that question. Members of Congress already have an excellent socialized health care system. It's the commoners who are expected to prop up the health insurance industry.

Go back to bed. Talk radio hasn't started for the day.

She's already proven that the interests of her constituents mean nothing to her. I was told that due to in-committee support for Cap-and-Tax, the farm lobby in AR has made it a mission to oust her and Berry. All I can say is "It's about damn time!"

A return to un-subsidized agriculture is what this country needs. Forget about friggin ethanol and stop diverting corn away from the food market. One of the few things US still leads the world in is crop production. It could be a first step in the re-industrialization of America, and one method to pay off some of our foreign debt. We should not be manipulating the ag market (thereby reducing it's efficiency) with subsidies and layout programs. We pay dairies to pour milk on the ground while consumers pay $3 a gallon, and block import of sugar at 10 cents a pounds so a few billionaire sugar producers and sell it to us for over $1 a pound. Americans are idiots being screwed by their own "representatives".

Only and idiot mind-numb obamabot would think it's okay for our elected representatives to pass legislation that affects everyone in the nation except themselves.

BTW, I don't listen to talk radio. I prefer the Boneyard or Hair Nation.

For the uninformed:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia -

"Hear, hear is an expression used as a short repeated form of hear ye and hear him. It represents a listener's agreement with the point being made by a speaker."

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Capricorn

You'll have difficulty finding equilibrium in your emotional life at the moment; try to control the impulsive side of your character. At work, your usual powers of intuition will be clouded. Fits of feverishness may bother you and break down your energy. If you can get out into the countryside for a walk, you'll feel much better.
