Al Gore is not boring. I sat through a lot of powerpoint presentations in my life, Al Gore gave the best powerpoint presentation in his movie, Inconvenient Truth. |

Here is what Muhammad did while observing fast: Muhammad slept with Umm Salama during her period, kissed her while fasting and used to take bath from the same pot after having sex…(Sahih Bukhari,1.6.319) http://www.islam-watch.org/abulKasem/MdViolat... Lets play your game |

1 Al GORE IS A FU*CKING HYPOCRITE on this LIE of global warming. With his use of private jets flying all over the world and America and his Huge motorcades when traveling he has a "Carbon" foot print hundreds of times worse than an average person. If he really believed what he is preaching he would never live this life style. He is just a profiteer that is using this to make money and feel important. |
|
|
OK lets leave him out of the equation. According to you, Is the message that he brings true or not?
The messenger is never important. Always focus on the content. |
|
|
To be fair to Al Gore, he was an ex-Vice President and should by law by under secret service protection. Therefore there will always be an army following him.
You do have to give him credit that his son was arrested for going 100 miles per hour at 46 miles per gallon in a Toyota Prius, |

1 \ Was Greenland much warmer in the 11th century? The Vikings settled Greenlamd when they found it in the 10th century to be warm and able to support crops and livestock. They were there for 450 years before it turned cold and froze up to the point the vikings died out there. If we look at what Europe and Greenland was like at these times the climate was much warmer and then went colder. This global warming hoax is just that and if any warming or cooling is part of the earths natural cycle. If you can explain the Greenland climate during the 12th century and what it is today then you might have my attention. Al Gore is full of crap and is just being a scare monger. Like I said If he was serious and concerned about his global warming he wouldnt have his HUGE carbon footprint that he causes today. He could do as much with video E-Mail to get his message out. |

Not having lived in Greenland in the 12th Century, I can only go on what I'm told by scientists and the like. But I do know that they didn't have factories, and cars, and the population didn't increase at the rate it has in the last 100 years. Maybe Al Gore puts more money back into environmental friendly products and initiatives, than the average Joe Blow, to 'offset' his 'footprint'(I'm sure you won't buy that). And besides, this thread has been restarted because some fool from Malaysia is trolling the threads and just posting 'up'. It was over a year ago and isn't really relevant anymore (the concerts that is). I don't see how it can be a negative or bad thing to educate people about pollution, how can you? |
Education about people and pollution is good but living a totally different lifestyle than the one your are telling others not to is wrong and is totally hypocritical. You really have to be blind to the elephant in the room to miss how bad his hypocracy is. Like Hitler advocating human rights. |

Hi, Keep in mind We are Australians and most of us (me included) dont know the bloke from a bar of soap. I hear what your saying though. Is Al Gore some sort of tree hugga crossed with Micheal Moore crossed with a pollie? Dont laugh but my uncle has never used electricty at his house in matlock victoria. they never had it come to his one horse town. He uses wind, solar and batteries (He is ex army).... Keep up the good work Kazzi. and the rest. |
Don't laugh at Al Gore. If the election had been fair in 2000, Al Gore would have been the president. The world would have been a safer place for all of us. Let him make up his stories about global warming, and having invented the internet etc. At least he won't invent stories about WMD in Iraq. |

I found Al Gore's movie interesting as well as "who killed the electric car". Not to undermine the importance of at least giving these ideas some discussion, I often feel left dissatisfied because the presentations highlight potential problems, but don't really delve very deeply into why the problem is there.
I suppose if I think logically about things, it seems until our worldwide population stabilises (probably not by our own volition), we are never going to be in a position to address the wider implications of how we impact this planet. The saddest thing is that while there are many who recognise this and voluntarily choose to just have one or two children, there are still alarming numbers who would have as many children as they can (and these are not just in 3rd world countries). While many would argue that we're fine, disintegrating quality of life is a slow subtle process to a point. But then all of a sudden, we complain, there are too many cars on the road, not enough houses, not enough hospital beds and demand someone fix it. How? Build more lanes/houses/wards? Great, things ease for a while, but then we've not learned anything from this so continue the same behaviours. But there is hope. If you hear someone wants to have a 3rd, 4th, fifth child, ask them to consider the wisdom of this. If you want to have 3+ children, then, think about it. We need to get past petty jealousies like, "well he had nine children". Use this as an excuse to do the same, and we all lose. |

With all these concerts planned, does this mean Big Al's gonna sing for us!
|
When Al Gore sings, he will probably send chills up my spine. I would need more global warming to keep me warm. |
