The Vietnamese fishermen were detained without having had their day in court to defend the “allegations of illegal fishing,”which were even referred and reported by the Chinese media. Furthermore, Chinese authorities arbitrarily confiscated one fishing boat that is worth about $20,000, more than a lifetime saving of an ordinary Vietnamese citizen.
or example, 139 fishermen were seized and nine boats were confiscated last year, resulting in a total loss of VND2 billion (US$96,150), he said.
At least this time, families of the fishermen can be reunited with their loved ones and not have paid for $233,000 ransom fee. The State of Vietnam and the Party have failed again and again to protect its citizens and the sovereignty of the country.

Why is the detention of Vietnamese fishermen by Chinese Navy considered an act of piracy?

International should not make the same mistake like it did with Hitler by submitting to Hitler’s dictak and Munich. Nobody can satisfy to the insatiable greed or hunger of the most populous and totalitarian country.

Be determined in the weeks ahead to fight for your rights in both financial and emotional matters. You are definitely not taking your love life lightly, but do not insist on being in control or you will end up with a real fight on your hands. At times you feel like a volcano that is about to erupt. Keep your sense of perspective or you could hurt sensitive feelings.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
