"Unlike in the U.S., where military and civilian space operations are separate, China's manned space program is run by the People's Liberation Army" This seemingly sane statement is a fools gold designed to scare and point a finger . The reality is both the US and China are militarizing space same as Russia, UK, France , Japan , India and the rest of the members of the space club . The USA's separate civilian and military space ops just plainly signifies Washington's massive space budget and much advanced space program compared to Beijing's. The Wall Street Journal subtly is militarizing the media by using it as a weapon of mass propaganda. Kinda like the Wall Street Journal is in a 'Occupy the Penatgon' mode.

The Great Nation of Pakistan has always provided China with advanced deep space exploration technology in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The latest rocket propulsion system discovered by Pakistan scientists in 2010 will enable the Chinese to put men on the moon led by a Pakistani Astronautby 2020.Latest computer techonology from Pakistan has helped the Chinese to become world leaders in electronics.Food production in China has grown 400% in last 5 years because of new breeds of rice and wheat developed by Pakistani scientists in Islamabad. The Great Nation of Pakistan will continue to provide all advanced and cutting edge scientific discoveries to China to help them overcome the disadvantages of overpopulation. With Pakistan help China can be confident that it will be able to feed its Billion + population for at least the next decade.

Quantum Teleportation Breakthrough May Pave the Way for Quantum Computing Apr. 15 2011 - 12:10 pm | 32,808 views By ALEX KNAPP Quantum teleportation: the name brings Star Trek to mind, although that’s not quite accurate. What quantum teleportation really transmits isn’t people, but rather information (called “qubits”, as an analogue to the classic “bit” that we use to slice up memory in traditional computing). In theory, quantum teleportation is the transmitting of cubits from one position to another without the qubits travelling in the intervening space. Reliable trasmission of qubits is something that’s necessary for the development of quantum computers. Quantum computers, if they’re possible to build, would in theory be able to take advantage of quantum mechnical algorithms, enabling them to use algorithms that can perform calculations much, much faster than traditional computers. So ever since quantum teleportation technology was first proposed in the late 1990s, there have been two major avenues of research. The first is being able to transmit information over long distances — right now, the longest distance claimed is about 10 miles by researchers in China

China Has Homemade Supercomputer Gain By JOHN MARKOFF Published: October 28, 2011 China has made its first supercomputer based on Chinese microprocessor chips, an advance that surprised high-performance computing specialists in the United States. Photos of the new Sunway supercomputer reveal an elaborate water-cooling system that may be a significant advance in the design of the very fastest machines.“Getting this cooling technology correct is very, very difficult,” said Steven Wallach, chief scientist at Convey Computer, a Richardson, Tex., supercomputer firm.“This tells me that this is a serious design. This cooling technology could scale to exaflop. They are in the hunt to win.” http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/29/world/asia/...

BTW retard, you like to talk about the past? in 1998... over 60% of the low end manufacturers, factories, suppliers in China had some sort of Foreign ownership it was your own multinationals from the USA... that sent your american jobs oversea... paid slave wages, and used cheap materials and then imported them back to you Americans... you americans who paid top dollar, for those cheap products and went into debt to do it.. the only thing those Chinese migrant workers are guilty of is saving those slave wages and loaning it too loudmouth americans...like you

Copy Cat is wasting $$$ and there will be no benefit at all for China since China just wants to show off with its poor neighbors. Does China use their own GPS for their phones and other stuff now or they still use data from U.S satellites?

^ dumb fake american, vietnamese boat person... China has satellites up there already, a few years back they shot down one of their older satellites because they had no more use for it... why do you care so much about China? a country you never been too.. Vietnam is another commie country.... and it was the country that sent your parents packing and on those boats to america meaning your parents side/america got it a$$ kicked in the Vietnam war... by the current government in Vietnam LOL . . China shoots down satellite, drawing protests worldwide Surprise test sets scene for possible space arms race By Marc Kaufman and Dafna Linzer, Washington Post | January 19, 2007 WASHINGTON -- The Chinese military used a ground-based missile to hit and destroy one of its aging satellites orbiting more than 500 miles in space last week -- a high-stakes test demonstrating China's ability to target regions of space that are home to US spy satellites and space-based missile defense systems. The test of anti satellite technology is believed to be the first of its kind in two decades by any nation and raised concerns about the vulnerability of US satellites and a possible arms race in space. China's action drew sharp protests from other nations with satellite programs -- a predictable response that experts said dramatically illustrates Chinese willingness to face broad international criticism when it comes to space, which Beijing considers a key part of the push to modernize its military and increase its ability to compete in high-tech warfare. "The US believes China's development and testing of such weapons is inconsistent with the spirit of cooperation that both countries aspire to in the civil space area," National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe said yesterday. "We and other countries have expressed our concern regarding this action to the Chinese." A spokesman at the Chinese Embassy said he had no information about the anti satellite test. In addition to introducing a renewed military dimension to space, the destruction of the Chinese satellite created a large "debris cloud" that can seriously damage other satellites in nearby orbit, and possibly even spacecraft on their way to the moon or beyond. http://www.boston.com/news/world/asia/article...
