Opening a financial can of worms on the taxpayers. My Italian parents and grandparents never had anything like that. They just plain had to learn english, and they did. Ciao.

This all boils down the the Federal government. If they'd get rid of the illegals we wouldn't have this kind of bull to put up with. I think if the ballot is going to be in Mexican it should be in Chinese, German, Greece, Italian, and every other language. If they can't speak the English get the F out and how can they vote if they are not Americans? Don't you have to speak English to become a citizen?

Has it really come to this? I say make 'em sue for it. It would be nice to have the supreme court rule that English is the language of America. Just because a group of aliens are too lazy to learn the language doesn't mean the rest of us have to cater to them. Come on Cleveland, stand up to this!

This is globalization, it's coming fast now. The republic of america you once knew is around 80% gone. We are quickly entering a whole new system of life and society.

Why are we wasting our money on other language ballots if these people aren't citizens? In order to get into this country LEGALLY, they have to learn English. Haven't you heard of Immigration and Customs? Maybe they're run by foreigners too considering that Obama is an illegitiment president.

Dittos big time go ahead and take it to the S. court and rule on the official language of America. Start with the language the constitution is written in.

Anyone who needs a Spanish ballot to vote has NO BUSINESS voting in the first place. I thought that the illegal alien insects had no voting rights in this country. No person who came into this country legally and has become a citizen would need a Spanish language ballot. Learn the language or get the hell out of MY country.

I'm pretty sure that you have to learn English to become a citizen, and that only citizens can vote. If that's not the case, it needs to be.

For decades we've had interstate road signs that use pictures along with or rather than words for the numbers of illiterates who cannot read. I refuse to do business with companies that say "Press 1 for English". Not only is English required but a citizenship test must be passed. Classes are held for immigrants except of course for the illegals that Clinton and BO haul to the polls at election time.

NO, if you are in America then it is up to you to learn to speak and read our language, not the other way around!
