How many times before last night did they go to this house?

It's the way you raise them! She had no right letting the dog out & being shot! I hope they press charges on her & give the dog to a good home. Lot of people out their treat pit bulls like their own children.

It doesn't say much about the cops that shot the dog. 3 Bullets and it was still alive? Maybe they need a larger caliber bullet?

I hope they do press charges on the woman who let the dog loose. I can't say what I want to say here about her, but suffice to say I'd like to slap the BIT**!! She put the officers in danger and subjected the animal to being shot! She doesn't deserve to be free, and I hope they put her behind bars for a very long time!!

Well Mr. Pistoff. I hope you get shot. you are that typical human being who is selfish, doesn't like anybody else or want anything else on this earth but you! Feel sorry for you that you don't have a live and love in your heart. Don't know what your problem is but what comes around goes around with your kind of attitude.

That woman should be in custody right now. She should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon as well as animal cruelty. And if she doesn't have 'pit bull insurance', nail her with that also! But, please don't confuse this incident with that Westlake cop that shot the lab. Different set of circumstances.

But I think your right. But there is always a chance TPB might get the dog into a Pit Bull Sanctuary. That's what happened with Michael Vick's dogs. The ones that were not adopted out, will stay there for the rest of their lives (With MJ footing the bills). But first the dog has to pull through.

I remember a guy getting charged for telling his pet snake to "sick 'em", referring to the police. First, snakes dont listen to commands, second, it was in its cage, and third, household snakes do not move quickly, but he was still charged, though the judge probably threw it out of court. Oh wait, that would require common sense, which is a lot less common than the name suggests. Anyway, this woman should be charged for releasing the dog.

The best thing to do is to ignore the faux Pist off. He/she just wants an audience.

Here we go with all the "they shouldn't have shot the dog!!" lovers. The dog was purposely let out to attack the officer - which it did! I'm so tired of hearing about the poor animals & no concern for the officers. I have a dog that I love very much but if I can't keep it in my house when I'm away & its setting off burglar alarms or if I were to purposely allow it out when officers are responding to a call at my home - then I should be fully aware of the risks I'm taking in getting my dog shot or harmed. It is sad for these animals but only the fact that they are in homes that are negligent in how they are being cared for. If you can't properly care for or restrain your animals - don't have alarms going off and don't call police when you are in need of help or have a disturbance in your home!!!

Agree with everyone saying charge the woman with deadly weapon, threatening officers, and animal cruelty. The cops had no choice here but to shoot the dog, but that woman is responsible for sending a dog to attack and ultimately subjected to lethal force. And a murder warrant? Why was this guy out in the first place?
