Police: Woman Shot, Killed in Cleveland Robbery

Only the woman was shot huh?
Gotta feeling she ran her mouth to the robbers, provoking them, just like Jeff in Tremont leaving Pats a few months back.
Basically you have two options when getting robbed like this, either give'm what they want or pull a Jackie Chan on their azzes.
Running yer mouth like a tough guy just gets you shot.

Although one life lost to such a horrific crime is horrible, I am bothered by why the woman was shot and the man uninjured. I can think of a lot of scenarios for this, but the one that keeps sticking in my mind is this was a set-up. Then the question arises that what would be the reason for a set-up?

Man's inhumanity to man at it's worst once again!

Sounds to me like you're running your mouth before you have all the facts.

We hear these stories everyday. So sad. I will be praying for her family.

I was not only shot at but, my family was tortured and held at gunpoint for 30+ mins. Three gunmen robbed my home and family. I was on the news about 4 years ago. My twin 10 yr old sons and 3 friends in my home at the time, in Cleveland. Honestly, not only was nothing done but, after the police filed the report, they didn't even call the Ambulance. I am a tax paying, hard working, home owning citizen and have had to move to the sticks because, the police are so over-worked in Cleveland, having to write so many tickets that they don't seem to have any time to "Protect and Serve" But, i guess with Jay Westbrook in that ward, NOTHING WILL GET DONE, except the new condos he is involved in....POLITICS SUCK.

no kidding my little brother was carjacked and killed and nothing was done about that either, I also live in the sicks now, Cleveland is a discusting black hole!!!

Kari Myers was my little sister and she will be loved and missed dearly!! She lost her life for what? I hope that these to low lives get what is coming to them!!!

She was with two guys, and they were confronted by two guys, yet SHE was the one who got robbed AND shot? The two she was with just stood there and let it happen?

Besides -- enough bad things happen in broad daylight. Why would you risk it by being out at THAT hour? Were they headed to work?

Why should anyone be out walking on the streets at 3:30 AM unless they absolutely have to be, especially when you have a baby at home? Nothing good happens at those hours. THERE AIN'T NO MAYBERRY ANYMORE!!

how many more victims of senseless crimes must we mourn before bleeding heart liberals realize turning the other cheek doesn't always work. violent offenders must be put away for a long time and the death penalty used more often in murder cases.

WOW.....this is a horrible thing. their poor father. i knew both girls growing up near the trisket area. to lose both daughters so violently just make me cry. kari was a nice girl, very caring, and a great mom. just because they were out on the street by where they lived, does not mean she desrved to die. CLEVELAND HAS TO TAKE BACK THERE STREETS LIKE IN CHICAGO....... we are not safe anywhere...pray for her family

What good reason would anybody have to be walking the streets at 3:30 am? Especially if you have a baby at home. Once more, look at the lifestyle.

There will never be a shortage of senseless crimes, but instead of worrying about what we can do to the criminals, why don't we concentrate more on what we can do to prevent becoming victims?!

Cleveland sucks. Its a death trap.
