Why? This smacks of a special interest pork project. What aren't we being told? Who's making the money on this? How many people will ride this route?

Is the meeting private? If not, I'm interested in listening to the meeting if they could stream the recording through the Internet.

@maxfield, this is great for people with visual impairments (including me) who want to travel through selected cities by using a commuter train.

So what do you do once you're in Tavares with no car? I doubt everything is in walking distance, or that there are timely buses.

maybe we can spend another fifty million on this one too, before it gets built

same s--t, different name.

I wonder how much we will pay to name this train that will never exist.

how about "give us all your fu--ing money rail'?

So there are no sidewalks in downtown cities north of Orlando close to the train station? Is the commuting trains only for people who go to work in Orlando?

I could take a cab or a bus (cheaper), though, but I thought I'd ask first.

Are you kidding me? Do we have an extra 50 million stashed away in a bank somewhere? CRX is a financial contributor to politicians pushing this. Traffic will become worse along 441...don't kid yourself

Maybe they can coordinate with the schedules of the airplanes of the boat basin that nobody uses or with the expensive buses that nobody uses or with the boat trolleys that nobody uses. Where do these politicians get these strange plans and why do we keep reelecting them?

Unfortunately for us, politicans don't think ahead. Too much greed, corruption and incompetence get in their way of sound planning of public projects.

what a crock of s--t

it gives the idiots at the sentinel something to run "special reports" on for the next year or so.

the a--holes pushing this are the same ones who cut a deal with commissioners hill and caldwell along with the niagra people to put them in buisness, draining the water dry and making millions off of it.

same old s--t

the sentinel got smart and stopped all critics of our elected and appointed officials burning of our money, by making it difficult to say anything negative about all the stupid bulls--t we are getting rammed up our a--es.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Gemini

You're in a very erratic mood today, making you restless, edgy and nervy. It may be almost impossible to settle to anything for long, because, as Mercury slows, you soon lose interest. If life becomes boring you'll want to liven it up in some way and it's likely you'll choose the most disruptive and controversial option you can think of, even though you know this will cause trouble.
