I also received two fraudulent charges from Kangaroo Express # 2Q39. These were posted on September 2, 2009. Received a fraud alert call from my Visa Co. They cancelled my credit card which I have had for 12 years. Both charges were for $75.00 each. One was from Sanford other said Ostee? I am in North Carolina and have never been to an Ale House nor have I been to the Sanford, Fl. area. They are still at it into September! Please help us all!!

This scam is still going on ! Never been to the Ale House. Possibly Racetrac #346 on south OBT in Orlando. Orlando Sheriff's Dept. refused to take a report ! Did speak to Det. Weaver from Oviedo.
Scammed to the tune of $99.74 and $99.94, both on 9/14/09. Cashed @ OUR STORE#@2 in Zellwood. Googled OUR STORE and only listing that comes up is on Edgewater Dr. in Orlando. Sure hope the Police can get to the bottom of this soon before it hurts too many more people ! |

I look at my account everyday and sure enough today I had four charges for Kangeroo Express all approx $75.00 and one for Our Store #2 in Zellwood Fl. for about the same amount. I of course closed down the card but these folks need to be stopped. This is very unsettling!

I too was hit for two charges. The only time I used that card was at the Columbia Restaurant on St. Armands. Within 24 hours of using it, two charges (roughly 100 and 96 on Aug 15) appeared on that card. It has since been closed and the cc company is investigating.

We also noticed a $75 charge to this Kangaroo Express #2Q39 in FL. The credit card company said that my actual card was used through the card reader. We've never been to Florida. Very suprised to see this has been going on for so long.

I live in Tampa, I have (3) transactions pending 100.00 each from Orlando - Kangaroo Express stores.
Why hasnt anything been done about this with all these complaints??? All these ppl listing possible places they were before - lets see Sonic, spanish grocery store Tampa and the AMC Theatre - anyone have any links to these? |

I had 8 fraudulent charges on my credit card 11-09 fron the Kangroo2Q39 and Sunoco also.
You wonder why it takes so long for the police to find these people.. |

I just had two $75 charge in my credit card, from what I see this has happened to many people in the same store. My question is have you use your card at Amazon.com that was the last place I used it, as a matter of fact the only place it was used. |

I just saw these charges on my debit card. I only use this card at ATMs. How did they get my number? Who is on this case?

I had another two charges of $75 even after I cancel my card. The charges were two on 11/04/09 and two on 11/05/09. From what I can see here this has been happening for a long time, where are the authorities. Now also a Charge at Shell Oil in Orlando, FL for $22.06 on 11/05/09.

I'm angry that my account got hit, but it's mildly comforting to know that I'm not the only one....in other words, I hope that these thieves are apprehended and severely punished. What my account shows:

Just to clarify: I live in Los Angeles but am now in Korea. I have never been to Florida (location of fraudulent charges); I have my debit card with me here. Prior to these charges, I hadn't used my debit card since July.

I just checked my statement and these thieves stole more than 500.00 dollars from my debit card,too bad my bank didnt realized that it wasnt me and didnt block the card. It really sucks!! its been ,more than a week and the bank hasnt return my money yet..Something needs to be done with this place how come the dont ask for and ID seeing that there are too many transactions with the same card, well maybe even the owner of this place is also involved.

Possibly a connection...3 hits Kangaroo Express #2Q39 in Sanford and Sorrento Florida from a Debit account for over $300 and also credit card purchases at numerous gas stations in both areas - with a credit card I do not use. Makes you wonder how many more other than those who write a reply are falling victim...

I have multiple fraudulent charges from Kangaroo Express #2Q39 in FL in the amount of $74 and change like so many others on this forum have described. How long has this been going on and why has it not been stopped already? WTF???!!!
