I have made a number of written complaints with law enforcement about issues that i will not go into detail here.these written complaints that i have made have never made it to the states attorney.you ask how do i know this i have called the states attorney office several times and im told that they have not received my complaints. you ask how to make zeigler a better and safer place to live lets start by getting police officer that enforce the law.

Try complaining to the water department. Maybe they can get something done.

The PD has come a long way. They have solved nearly every crime as far a robbery that the victim has reported in a timely manner. not 2 to 3 days later. The have handle every homicide the have had. Most people that complain about the PD are people that are on a first name basis with every officer because the are complaining constantly about stupid stuff. If people would realize that the pd is not there for civil issues they would find out that the PD is and should be respected.

Does anyone know if our ZPD Officers are required to take an aptitude test or psychological evaluation? I'm assuming they do not. What worries me is that some individuals who currently work for us and are paid by our taxes,seem to lack moral, ethical, and logical sense of being, and they carry loaded weapons! Just something I was wandering.....

yes, they have to take a test, but if you are Vera's son=in=law, the city keeps paying for you to retake it until you pass it!lol

I think that Police Officers should have to pass both the Academy and a psychological assessment. Triplett is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The man clearly should not have the power to carry a gun or have any authority over individuals.

Nobody knows for sure that a background check was ever made on Triplett, so nobody knows what he passed or what he was given as a test. It's all buried under the mayors desk. This dope headed drunken pervert has a closet full of skeletons which are about to fall out on the town council, and then you talk about the cover up that was done on Louie the barber, you ain't seen nothing yet. When names are named, everyone will deny even knowing Triplett. Somebody was good on their knees whether it be mother or daughter, they got the job done because several good men were passed over that were qualified to do the job that was GIVEN to Triplett.

I was told by Triplets wife (Susan) that her husband was diagnosed as bi-polar but did not take his medication because of the side effects. That I do know as a fact! I believe this was 2 years when she told me that. He is like a ticking time bomb and It's scary that he can carry a gun!

bi polar is when a person has had periods of depression followed by periods of mania. both most be clinically diagnosed. look it up if you have doubts about my answer
