TV & Electronics Repair?

On a printed circuit board if...
C = capacitor
J = jumper
D = diode
CX =???
etc etc etc

what is a CX?

There are 2 of them... different... small/bigger...
They are very near where the power plugs into the TV/PCB. May come after the fuse (that shows continuity) but before the transformers... I think.

They are lil' square plastic boxy looking things.
I'm guessing a circuit breaker of some sort.
maybe not.

what does cx = stand for?

Can the Power supply be tested (voltages checked) with the board removed from the TV?
If it can... I think I'm happy.

My checks lead me to believe what I had hoped...
That the power supply is kazoinks.
