Herman Miller settles antitrust lawsuit

I have to laugh when the "high and mighty" Herman Miller has a problem. While they continue to "pay their way" into the "Best Places to Work" categories of several magazines, it becomes a joke when they walk 120+ white collar worker sto the curb because their stock price is not doing so well Screwing that many families and still remaining the "best place to work" My A**...... Isn't Corporate America Great! The almighty dollar continues to rule!

I know one of those people. A 25-year employee with a solid growth of contribution to the company. The human practices of most public corporations these days are appalling. People are the most easily disposable commodity in the business model. I've worked for large corporations, but never would again.

I'm surprised that there aren't more cases surfacing like this. Herman Miller is far from alone in this. It has been a common practice with many companies for many years. Not saying that is good or making excuses for Herman Miller but rather that there should be more nailed to the wall with them.

Having worked for this company. Its less than a desirable place. I agree with kicked. Their bragging awards are meaningless to the average employee. They get little benefit from this. Not to mention their 900 levels of management. Having worked in shipping for four years an the managing with an iron fist keeps the peasants under the thumb of a supervisor that can barely spell his own name (Kevin).
