I am so glad to see the recovery in progress of Bosco. However while a new dog has been promised to Zanesville we need to be sure that the city has the funds to provide this new dog with a bullet proof vest worn by many of the K-9 officers all over the country. These dogs work so hard for us and many times give their lives to save their human partners.
We may need to start a fund raising campaign to raise the funds for these canine vests as they are not cheap. But the courage Bosco showed certainly shows a vest would be worth the investment in dolars. |
