I'll take this "greedy Wall Street Titan" over our current tax and spend liberal governor anyday. Read any of John's books and tell me he wouldn't make a great governor. It's time for a change.

Wall Street is a culture of BUSINESS not greed.

The greed and corruption part comes in when democRATs are involved.

If John Kasich is proud of his work at Lehman, than why no mention of the last ten years on his official biography at john kasich.com ? This inconventient fact was conveniently not reported by Hallett et al.

Read the New York Observer article and judge for yourself.

Most of those who are reported on in this story have donated to Kasich's campaign, including MCDonald. Another fact not provided by Kasich, et al.

The Democrats blame Kasich for the financial system meltdown and Ohios economy. Yet Strickland has been Ohios GOVERNOR for three years but he's just a victim of circumstances? Strickland would be better off adopting "the buck stops here" and show some leadership. I had high hopes for him as Governor but am disappointed on several fronts. As much as he tries he can't be victim and bully at the same time.

My Mother use to tell me that you are known by the company you keep. That should be enough to raise some eyebrows about Mr. Kasich. Look at the corruption going on around us today in the world of politics. I am afraid of his contacts, his friends and his ability to smooth talk people...and keep in mind, he was a FOX person. That to me puts him in the same boat with Limbaugh and many other radical waccos. Is this what Ohio wants as Governor????? We need more transparency with our politicians....why won't Mr. Kasich be transparent with his income and its sources since he left the national scene???? As voters in Ohio...Please ask the tough questions and don't give up until you get honest and forthright answers!!!!! Don't let a smooth talking politician give you the old schmooze job!!!!

Wall Street Titan?

The correct terminology is "Capitalist Leech" (aka, "Capitalist Bloodsucker"). I guess the author of the Dispatch article doesn't know much about the science of Economics, or History for that matter. Vote for Kasich: Ensure the Continued Decline of your Community.

Kasich does not understand how congress works. Just look at what happened when he was a rep, the deficet went down, that is not the democrat way. Don't you love it when a dem boasts that Clinton balanced the budget when newt and Kasich were leaders. Can any of those dems point out where in the constitutioan that budgets are the job of the exec branch.

Meet the Senators in the Creepy Right-Wing Cult Trying to Defeat Health Care Reform / October 20, 2009 / http://tinyurl.com/ylgwfq9
The Family has spent decades consolidating power within the GOP and may have come to dominate the party even among those who do not belong to the cult.
In the heat of summer, a din of voices arose from the U.S. Senate in opposition to the health care reform legislation that was taking shape in both houses of Congress. Overlooked in media coverage of the health care brouhaha is the membership of many of the senators who most vociferously oppose the legislation in the right-wing religious cult known as The Family.
With the Senate Finance Committee's passage last Tuesday of its version of health care legislation, expect the debate to flare again as the bill moves to the Senate floor. The Family's point men -- "key men" in the cult's theological lexicon -- will likely try once again to defeat reform in the service of their Supply-Side Jesus.
You could chalk it up to nothing more than pure partisanship, this obstructionism on the part of these Republicans. Or you could say that the ideology-gutter-theology of The Family, which has spent decades consolidating power within the GOP, has at last come to dominate the party even among those who do not belong to the cult.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
