Hey Amber---I learned very early in life not to pay any attention to people who do not know what they are talking about.
Thanks to the Columbus Dispatch for printing this article.

I am so pleased to see this article in the paper today. I am always looking for uplifting
stories about sturggles related to mental illness. I have been a psychiatric nurse for many years and feel so many go through their struggles alone or misunderstood because some want to turn away. Some patients I have met feel shame over their diagnosis. I feel they are brave to come into the hospital and confide in us this most personal journey. You have chosen to go forward and I am thankful for any effort to bring this topic out of further hiding. I attempt to write about certain people I have met and in my own way hope to push compassion and awareness. As a nurse I should say of my co-workers that you can not find a more dedicated group of people who want to nurture and guide patients and their families as they find their own answers. It is so affirming. Here is wishing further success in sharing your life experience. I will always be an advocate for improving mental health care in any way that I can. The best most sincere respect. Pru

Wow! Thank you you all for your supporting comments. It is humbling. The Quinn Family simply tries to support those fighting for recovery from this devastating disease. We hope our efforts help call attention to the difficulty of coping with the illness and that at least some degree of recovery is possible. Pat spends every day of his life working to help others. The rest of us work to support his efforts as well as others who are going through similar challenges. It's great to know there are others out there who care and understand.

The Quinn Family is a rarity. The family value and unconditional love they possess is truly something to admire.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Gemini

The lively Leo Moon makes this great day for doing something sociable, Gemini. Now if it's festive as well, then so much the better. You'll enjoy mingling with friends, neighbors and loved ones, and will even get the chance to smooth over recent problems with a certain someone. It's a big effort to get on well with everyone, but it will be all the more appreciated.
