If this man is 25, his step daughter is likely rather young. I am so sorry. Am I just reading more lately or are things getting totally out of control?

I just wonder if the guy who was knocked out unintentionally did something to the driver of the ranger at some point and didn't realize it. It's a very bizzare incident to say the least and the attacker will hopefully be found and prosecuted for his crime.

Put your foot to the floor, and outrun his ass. You get pulled over, just explain to the cop you were a victim of road rage.

Simmer down.. I think the poster was commenting on the age of the step-daughter as being young and having witnessed what happened..geesh.. the driver of the truck's not the only one with rage issues...

Geez! Lighten up already. They were just commenting on how awful it was for such a young girl to have to witness an attack like that on her stepfather. Get a grip and read and comprehend before you go off the deep end! Geezh!

Angel try a new screen name yours doesn't fit you. If they do catch this idiot he needs the same punishment ie. knocked in the head with a tire iron. I bet we'll be reading about him in the near future after he tries the same foolishness on someone who does have a CCW.

Agree to a degree...have my ccw, however if your walking up to the car to argue/confront/"talk " to the guy & already have your gun available, it start looking like more of intent from offense than defense. The time frame is so minimal to declare defense cause you want to be sure & be able to prove your life was in jeapordy.Unfortunalty the attacker is usually one step ahead.( it would be tough in court even though the guy was driving reckless) I feel the same way...just blow the ***holes head off, i'm just saying, most people may expect words to be exchanged, but if you get cracked in the head w/ a tire iron before you realize it...ccw may not do ya any good...unless he knock you out & then he has access to your gun. As far as police...are there too few? Do they make strong efforts to catch these guys? WE are sort of on our own...ccw does better for me than a 20 minute wait on a cop.

Recent police story...My daughter & I were going up 71 north toward Mansfield from C-bus. Car full of college kids visibly drinking & throwing beer cans out the window right beside me.Driver was speeding and swerving all over..apparantly hammered. Almost hit two cars in front of me. I thought these kids could kill anyone of my or your family members any minute. I called the highway patrol. Gave detailed description & direction. I got "we will see what we can do when our officers are available" I followed for 50 minutes...never one cop, sheriff or state patrol all the way through Mansfield. These kids were seconds away from killing someone...never seen driving like this. I have no faith in the police force after contacting them for very serious situations over the last few years & nothing being done about it at all. Anybody else experience things like this?

His first mistake was getting out of the car. No cell phone to call cops? Drive around that parking lot, honk your horn, make a scene till he goes away or cops come. Get the plate.
