If that guy would have, he could have stopped him dead in his tracks. What if the Moron would have went for the stepdaughter too ? He is very very lucky to be alive, with a blow to the head like that.

the laws are too easy on these people. if she had a carry permit she could have shot him. and well she should have.

I wonder....what in God's name makes a person think that it's okay to beat the heck out of someone else with a tire iron just because they don't like the way the person is driving or they don't like another person criticizing their driving? Sure, people pi$$ me off sometimes too with their driving but jeez!! Nowadays, you can't even honk at people for safety (valid) reasons without having to worry about whether or not you're going to offend them and set them off. Most of the time people just give the finger but occasionally we get a nutcase like this guy. Insanity.

I am sure the victim was totally innocent, not. He was not trying to avoid an incident at the end by getting out of his vehicle, he was pissed and wanted to fight! He got his bell rung and this should be a lesson. He is lucky to be alive for sure. There is more to this story folks. STAY IN YOUR CAR and drive to a safe populated area.

I don't care how many words were said, no one has the right to physically harm another individual. What ever happend to keep your hands to yourself? I wonder how old the stepdaughter is, if she is young it makes the situation even worse. I would hate to find out the type of rage this attacker has at home.

I believe the article said he pulled off to get away and was surprised that the guy pulled off also to confront him.

There are crazy people everywhere - some on 270 seem to think it is the Autobahn!
However, last night a lady cut in front of me on 315 south. I briefly honked at her. Then when I got off at my exit she pulled up next to me and apologized for cutting in front of me. That was a nice surprise. I told her thank you. Not everyone is crazy!

That's no excuse to purposely cause harm to a man and threaten his step-daughter. The man needs anger management therapy. If he did this to a total stranger, who knows what he may be doing to his own family; if he has one. God I hope not.

Why is there not a specific time or at least a range given for when the attack occurred? This information may help catch the person who attacked this man.

I am MRS MALABY and MY husband is the VICTIM OF THIS ATTACK I am APPALLED I got a phone call to come on here because OF PEOPLE SAYING MY HUSBAND WAS LOOKING FOR A FIGHT first off the FLYING J is where WE REGULARLY GAS UP and my tank was on E when I retrieved it. AS FOR he GOT HIS BELL RUNG YES BUT THE COWARD HIT MY HUSBAND IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AFTER HE TURNED AROUND WALKING AWAY DOES THAT SOUND LIKE LOOKING FOR A FIGHT???? HE WAS THEN HIT AGAIN IN THE FACE AFTER BEING PASSED OUT ON THE GROUND PASSED OUT DO YOU GET IT?? MY CHILD DID CALL 911 AND SHE DID SCREAM THE PLATE INTO THE PHONE but SHE WAS HYSTERICAL and they didnt get the whole plate it was not able to be understood. I want YOU TO KNOW I CANNOT WORK NOR CAN MY HUSBAND because of brain damage HE HAS TO HAVE 24/7 CARE RIGHT NOW. OUR LIVES ARE UPSIDE DOWN RIGHT NOW AND HOW DARE YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW THIS JERK WAS THERE UNTIL HE WAS AT THE PUMPS! I love you guys! I'm sick to my stomach about this guy still out there! Malaby's hold a strong trait! No matter what obsticle God puts in your path; you always come out a stronger family! Everyone will get through this..........if times you feel weak just look up this special poem "Don't Quit" it's a poem my grandma gave me when I was going through my first teenage break up! I know LOL huh? But seriously it helps! Let's just be thankful he's still here with us and let these people believe what they want! How does that saying go........Time will tell! Just pray that this man turns himself in or gets caught before it happens again maybe even worse the next time! Sorry I been such a jerk! Makes me feel REALLY bad!!!
