Review: Desys Alterations

Their alterations was really bad. They messed up my uniform, and they rushed through everything.

I went in to Desy's Alterations a while ago and asked some questions about altering an outfit, and they weren't very helpful. Maybe they didn't understand my questions due to a language barrier? It was very frustrating and I just left.

I'm also new to town from Flag, but I've had 2 great experiences at Desy's. The turnaround on my kids' embroidered school uniforms was QUICK and an alteration to a dress I previously disliked was terrific.

Language was a bit of a barrier even with me that I speak spanish, but I was extremely pleased with the final outcome of my daughter's school uniforms. Very quick and great embroidery. Much more pleased than at Z Trends. The logo has lasted and is much more detailed. I am now hiring her to embroider our work uniform tops :)

I went there to get my wedding dress altered. She wasn't very helpful and was even border-line rude. Stress is the last thing you need during this time and I could have really used her to be happy to help me. I am from out of town and it seems like it is hard to get anything accomplished around here!

Customer Service is unpleasant to say the least.

They take on more than they can chew! causing them to burn-out and take shortcuts to do the requested job. I am no longer their customer. I have taken my business elsewhere, much happier with my children's uniforms done at Z Trends, much nicer staff!

Yes she does take a lot on to do, but she is just one lady. She runs her own business by herself with occasional help from me. Desy is fast and efficient when you know what to ask for, trust me some people come in with ridiculous requests, and don't know what they are talking about. Desy does not take on wedding dresses "Disappointed Lady" she already has to much to do, so maybe you should have gone somewhere else, she does not specialize in wedding dresses either. Yes she can be overbearing and rude, but simple down your requests and she will understand you. As for not to please you are right she does take on too much, but she does not take shortcuts, so go ahead and go to Z trends they may have a nicer staff but they are expensive. She has plenty of other customers happy to take their embroidery and alterations to her.
