CAMP raids begin

Please, god, give us jobs in Mendocino county. Jobs that respect our lives and the beautiful countryside we live in. The plant is good and helps some, but not those who don't want to break the law and live a stressful, materialistic life. Greed destroyed our lumber industry, the salmon are mostly gone. Our children don't dream of becoming firemen, doctors, lawyers; instead they dream of big indoor, new Toyotas and DishTV premium channels.

.....then again, the only way we are getting jobs here is by development. More people, more business, more schools for more children and more roads for more cars. We already have land to grow vegetables and raise livestock. So god, give us respect for a decent and simple life instead of jobs, let us learn to appreciate what we already have here, and honor it by using it with respect and thanks.

State parks are threatened with closure, teachers are being shown the door, health services are being curtailed, but the failed War on Drugs gets all the funding it needs to chase around in the woods after pot growers. LEGALIZE IT ALREADY! WE COULD USE THE TAX REVENUE!

I have a novel notion. Quit growing and using it and we CAN SAVE THE TAX REVENUE! There is an ugly transfer of wealth going on here! Those dollars would be better spent in infrastructure in the good ol USA than in lighting up and screwing up your mind!
