If you want to get rich quickly, sell your York County property to any government entity. You are guaranteed millions. No price is too high.

Not really too high. That property is prime location on Susquehanna trail 1/4 mile from 83. And, it will be a good place to build a middle school as they can share support personnel with the two schools on the adjacent property.

use the farmhouse as an administration building (storing files, archives, equipment, etc.) or as an engineering studio for drafting students. old buildings do have a value, not just in their historic purpose but also in their architectural details, which would be lost if they are razed. why not have a committee of professional designers and architects, students, and citizens create ideas for the farmhouse. who knows, it may be used for storing volleyball equipment; i hope not, unless in the cellar. please give it a re-purpose. our architectural history needs to be kept alive. why not juxtapose 1840 with 2009!

Let's not ignore this sink hole thing. I am very familiar with the area the high school is built on and it is very prone to sink holes. only a matter of time until the Panther paw on the football field collapses!!

Yeah, I think the "sinkhole" thing is the story here. That ground is low and prone to sinkholes. Hope no one is unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when THE BIG ONE opens up.
Remember Fred Sanford , Elizabeth, it's the big one"??

Why it's obvious what to do! Do what every developer does when he scours the earth for his new development. Destroy!

Makes no difference if this house was standing during the Civil War or has any historical value to the county.

It's near Black Bridge (burned during the raid of Emigsville) and the RR tracks. It could potentially be an Underground RR site.

(I do hope you see sarcasm in this.)

Central York should have stayed in North York. The Admin just wanted to spend more money on useless projects. All they know how to do is spend money. I would laugh if the building got swallowed up in a hole. Just desserts!

Central School Board (Valedictorian, end of school, farm house) like oBOMBo Idiot Factory, always throws question into the press to receive feedback. Can't make a decision on their own. Enough people raise hell, they back down in a heart beat.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Sagittarius

It's difficult to keep your mind on what you're doing today because it keeps wandering off in all directions. There won't be much you can do about this except to be aware of it, and preferably to postpone doing anything very complicated or important until you're less distracted and absent-minded. Unfortunately, you won't get very far with it at the moment.
