When I run out of money, I MUST cut back, no other choice. Those bastards in Washington and Harrisburg simply tax us more instead of cuts. Are tobacco farmers still subsidized by the federal government?

How about freezing salaries? How about doing away w/ the airplanes? How about reductions in spending? How about passing legislation that gives back all the illegal raises that were granted this year? How about increasing taxes on the winnings @ all the betting parlors and lottery winnings in the state? I'm sure that others will come up w/ ideas for cutting spending rather than raising taxes!

cut some of the jobs in government - you didn't care about our jobs going overseas why should we care about government jobs - cut their pay who cares - why the should the taxpayer get zapped again. Government only cares about their own jobs!!!

Hello? Did anyone read the quick line about the Well Head Tax? If you have a well, they want to tax the water that you take from your own property? These people are insane!

Just shut-up and pay your taxes. Only the ustaxpayers have to give anything up during a shortfall. While they want to add taxes, they are still handing out grant money like it grows on trees. Our forefathers would not have allowed these actions taken against the ustaxpayers. Voting doesn't make a difference.
WHAT CAN WE DO??????????

You are right. We vote them out and the next bunch is just as bad. Term limits might help. This country started a revolution over less.

Sure, great idea... let's strap our PA residents even more by adding a gas tax so we can't heat our houses and a tobacco tax so that those of us who are trying to save some money for one of the few things left to enjoy can't even afford a roll-your-own alternative anymore. We definitely shouldn't consider governmental overspending or taxing folks that can actually afford it (many of our customers have been laid off or lost their jobs entirely) like lottery winners. If I won the lottery, I'd GLADLY give up more tax money so people who needed the extra could save it!! Write your congressmen and your senator!

This is exactly why gun control keeps coming up. They are afraid at some point the people WILL revolt.
And, I'm afraid violence is the only thing they will understand.
