In our current economic condition,it would be wise to accept the deal offered.not the time for a strike.Having the misfortunes of being laid off from work several times, other jobs closed down,I would rather have what th Septa employees already enjoy.I wish Septa would fail, get another transit company to do the job.Being I read about Septa as one of the highest fares, and inefficency.I remember the jitney's in Atlantic City.I worked there on a seasonal job one summer.Never had to wait more than a few minutes for one to come. When I was young, the destination logos on the front of buses-trains were accurate. Now they don't bother to change them as much.I've seen more buses go by my home that had the wrong destination logo.Example,I was at Arbys in Clifton Heights,a bus heading west(toward Springfield)had 69th.st on the front. It should be Chester or Springfield mall on it.Then when I was in center city,I waited 70 minutes for my bus and where I live they usually go by my home evry 12-15 minutes. So,where was the bus I needed?answer-the destination logo was incorrect.I wonder how many buse passed me that I wanted, that was going where I wanted to go,all because the headline destination logo was'nt changed, and I would have been home.I have to ask each bus when it comes to the waiting area,if it's going to my town. They become annoyed and say "look at the overhead bus route number!"Then I reply that it
s not always correct.
