The parents want to sue a University because their daughter was a drug addict and dated a drug dealer. So pompus. Your daughter was a druggie. They can't monitor your daughter hoochie.

The parents of Laura Shanks, a student who died at the beginning of the 2006 Fall Semester from a fatal mixture of cocaine and the painkiller Fentanyl, filed a wrongful death and negligence lawsuit against the university.

According to the suit, the university's "completely inadequate and substandard security system" allowed an expelled student, Kevin Hamilton, to return to campus in the early morning hours of Aug. 28, 2006, and enter Shanks' Harrington A room with the drug-laced substance in his possession. Both Shanks, who was 20 at the time of her death, and Hamilton used the combination of cocaine and Fentanyl, which led to her death. Hamilton lived.

Shanks' parents, Jeff and Claire Shanks, of Yardley, Pa., filed the suit in New Castle County Superior Court. University officials declined comment on the impending litigations at this time.

According to the suit, Hamilton, Shanks' former boyfriend, was expelled and banned from campus in 2005 after police found 53.4 grams of marijuana in his Rodney Hall room. On the night of Shanks' death, he brought drugs to her room despite his no trespassing orders.

As you all know our schools are a open and free
campus.
Maybe to help to send a message to our students
and save lives we should do the following.
I know our schools and colleges dont like signd on the grounds but to help post a sign so their will be no misunderstanding.

Maybe whitey can put armed guards on campus so when their daughter is having sex with a drug dealer the Beaver Patrol can stop them before they commit and sexual acts. Then whitey won't have to sue the campus for their daughters free will to do sex and drugs. The booty patrol could of stopped that guy, I am sure. Everyone is a GOP conservative until someone they love dies and then Whitey becomes a Liberal democrat and wants to sue everyone for their loved ones mistakes.

Black people are on welfare. Sure $14,000 a year? Whitey just sues and gets a 10 million lump sum payment causing college costs and medical costs to go higher. Whitey Strikes, Again. In regards to Laura Shanks, please do not disgrace her memory by calling her a drug addict when you don't even know the story.

Despite what her parents may be doing, it does not allow for anyone to make assumptions, especially false assumptions. The loss of Laura has impacted our community tremendously, as she is remembered as a caring, loving, compassionate, intelligent woman ...

It is because of ignorant people like you Miss Big Large Black Lady that our country is so blind, think of who you may be hurting with your words ... I lost my best friend on August 28, 2006 and nothing can change that, but I will fight until my own death that she will be remembered as the person she was, not as an unfortunate accident.

All rich white woman are remembered as saints. Rich white cracker was a druggie. If a black woman died using drugs she would be a crack druggie. But rich whitey dies using drugs and she was a saint. Lay off the drugs crackers.
