Rescue crews search for Tampa-bound plane crash victims

Now WHY were you flying through a front at night in a light twin? Once again a small plane trying to keep an airline sched.

I hate when they don't bother to give the tail number. Hopefully the crew will be found alive.

Be nice! I am friends with Zach and am worried about him. Both have their pilot's licenses and the older guy flys weekly for work.

The older guy is 35 and moved from Port Saint Lucie to Palm Harbour, there is lots of schitt around Florida but couldn't locate Zach

Zach went to UF and I knew him when he lived in Tampa for a couple years. Sad! I hope they find them!

I went to high school with Zach Schlitt in Memphis, TN. Not sure if that's his "hometown", but he lived here for at least 4 years before going to college at UF.

wasn't Schlitts the beer that made Milwaukee famous ?

If he flew "weekly" then he should have known not to fly through a front line like that. I am a Airline Pilot and I don't even fly my private plane in bad weather.

Hey Cletus, You can do a google search and see the history of the aircraft, it's exact model and year, and it's current owner with the N-number.
