A well writen column offering a compelling argument for a bill giving real world solutions to a national problem that surely isn't going away. The hatred and ignorance shown in many of these posts offer nothing of value save a window into their author's soul.

A compelling argument ????? for what.....rewarding those who break the law???? You honestly think the solution is not to deport those who ignored our nations laws and borders to get an education for their children at American taxpayers expense. Just what other laws if broken should be rewarded in your opinion. Should the police stop answering calls concerning trespassing or breaking and entering....maybe we need trespassing reform....suppose we make it legal to just walk into someones home and then require the homeowner to put that persons name on the deed, making the person who ignored the homeowners private property part owner of the home. Isn't that what granting American citizenship to someone ILLEGALLY here amounts to...Lets start with everyone who advocates AMNESTY for ILLEGALS...if they demand we give citizenship to those here ILLEGALLY let them set the example by turning over ownership in their OWN home to someone who breaks into it....I bet not one of them would agree to that....but those of us who do not support AMNESTY for ILLEGALS are racist and mean spirited, as opposed to them being hypocrites....well ILLEGAL is not a race...it is a status
