I worked at a truck driving school in Georgia that had an agreement to train new drivers for Gainey. Gainey was to pay for the schooling. Gainey stiffed them for $25,000 and nearly bankrupted this small family owned school. What goes around...

I wonder if they will take his name off all of his buildings and ballfields? How about a congressional bailout? Is he friends with Rich Devos? Maybe he can get a loan from him...... He'll probably move from trucking into the flower business... A friend of Barton Watson? Sorry....just couldn't help it. This world never ceases to amaze me. Could this be another big fraud?

Harvey Gainey has never been known to be a "nice" businessman. Ruthless is the word that comes to mind. I almost went to work for them 12 years ago, but they kept me waiting for 3 months after the interview, and then expected me to work for a temp agency and take a huge paycut to work for them. When I countered their offer, they said no way. Since my then boyfriend already worked for them, I knew the way they treated their employees, and was glad to dodge that bullet. Sounds like old Harv's business practices are catching up with him. I feel sorry for the employess, they don't deserve this.

I worked for them too. Poured my heart & soul into that business as if it were my own. I held that entire family/business in highest regards. I would have given my right arm for them. Get the drift.... Then that fateful day came that changed my life in the worst way. They found a way to fire me for reasons I will not go into because they were all unwarranted. Then when I tried to write a letter to ol' Harv, he was not man enough to respond to me. I thought I could at least get a "real" explanation from him. Not sure if his gate keeper Linda, even got the letter to him. Well, he had a very good thing going with some extremly good people, but when all the cut and slash started, the business started going downhill too. Well, if any of those top brass in that organization lose their jobs and find themselves out in the street, perhaps they will realize how they destroyed so many good peoples lives. This couldn't have happened to a better person. Harv....this is called KARMA. Good luck to you!

I find it interesting that he gives big bucks to things that list his name on money that he went into debt to borrow and then did not repay and was part of a financial institution collapsing. I wonder how much money he gave to the Republican party? I think they should list this also. I think they should return that also.
