Wyoming naming its price for Priceline jobs

Where do you apply for this job?

I need a job like this... PLease tell me where I need to apply at...I need all the INFO I can get, like NOW!! I want to work for great Company like this!!

I applied for the priceline job and had an interview with them and it was cool...until they did a background check. They told me i was NOT getting the job because it came back I had 3 MISDAMEANORS for Loud Music in the city of Grand Rapids! That was a LIE! I have loud music violations but they're NOT MISDAMEANORS! So I called the grand rapids michigan 61st district court to see and asked if loud music violations were misdameanors and was told "NO THEY ARE NOT" Meaning if priceline.com did their background checks "CORRECTLY" I would have gotten the job. So i got screwed out of working for priceline.com because "DONNA" an agent who does the hiring from the DAYS hotel in downtown grand rapids, on pearl street, wont just call the 61st district, which will only take a minute or two, to verify if loud music IS OR NOT a misdameanor!
Donna said I had to wait for them to send me a form in the mail to dispute what they found in the background check for those alleged misdameanors , I'm like WHY?! Y'all didnt do it right the FIRST TIME so why should I have to go through all that for a $10.50 job?? YES...I was told I was getting $10.50/hr...NOT $12 -$15. And even if something was done to get me the job, after all the waiting, then being lied to and telling me I have 3 misdameanors, me, a person who DOES NOT, I wouldnt work there because I aint even hired in and there's already PROBLEMS! They need to get their **** together and do it RIGHT for the rest of the community!

Why? because they are showing that they are inept at doing a background check? OR not telling the truth about the wages they are going to pay people. Nothing ever changes, same old corporate garbage!

I wouldn't hire you either - and my guess is that when you gave her attitude, Donna made the decision right there not to go to bat for you. Funny what you find out about character and how they react to trouble when not in an interview.

My understanding is that you would apply thru Michigan Talent Bank. I heard the wage is lower too, but that bonus based on performance brings the salary higher.

Can you imagine giving that person a telephone in a call center if they were having a bad day??

Just a few notations for the Mad Priceline Applicant...

1. 3 complaints about loud music on record. My guess is you were warned once or twice before that.

2. The article gives an average pay...NOT what they are going to hire you for.

3. If you REALLY wanted that job you'd already have the form in hand and get this straightened out.

4. Judging by your reaction I'm sure they would be very hesitant to put you on a telephone with their customers.

5. Instead of being mad you should have become even more determined to fix the problem instead of blaming every one else. Or should we assume the volume control is broken on your stereo??

You need to do some research on how to interview for a job. Make sure you read very carefully the section on...the do not do's.
