i said not all muslims..........some are extremists.
there are alot of muslims who live in those countries who fear for their lives
very few americans fear for the people they live around, I certainly don't live in fear that my 15 year old and her friends walking to the store will be killed by extremists.

I do not understand why people always go back to the race of a person. Their race/nationality has nothing to do with it. Some may say it's the way a person is brought up and I can agree with that to a CERTAIN EXTENT. Why? Because I came from a very wealthy family who is quite prominent in the community and I ended up in prison. My personal choices and the people I chose to be around played the biggest factor in my life at that time. I think we need to focus on the real problem of a situation instead of trying to place the blame on race or anything else for that matter. No matter what, these boys have their own minds and they make their own decisions. Peer pressure plays a big factor most of the time. I don't think he should have been out on bond in the first place because he had absolutely nothing to lose in commiting another violent crime.

Where to start grasshopper. You obviously are young and not much common sense yet.

#1 I have never physically murdered anyone in my life, so I am not guilty. The only murder that I could be accused of--corporately--right now is abortion. I do what I can and ask God for forgiveness regularly.

#2 Never owned a slave and neither did my forefathers. And do some research, there was just as much slavery in Africa-blacks owning blacks-as there was in America. Besides, it's long past time you get over it, no slave owners are still alive so it's time to move on. And on top of that Walter Williams officially forgave us white folk for being slave owners, so even if my ancestors had, I've been forgiven.

#3 Death penalty is not murder. It is a punishment used by the civil government to punish wrongdoing. It worked for thousands of years and we didn't have a lot of the issues we do today, should tell us something.

#4 War is not murder either. Unless it is unjust and I consider all the wars that the US has been in to be just wars. If you want examples of unjust wars, look at the Crusades.

#5 Indians--see #2.

Very nice how you stereotype all whites as murderers. Just as bigoted and ignorant as whites who stereotype all Hispanics and blacks as murderers, drug dealers, illegals, welfare recipients, etc. You have done a fine job of proving a person from any race can be ignorant, racist and a bigot.

As for the mom comment, sometimes love is tough and the best thing for a child is to live with consequences of his actions. This can be a better form of 'protection' than relieving him of all responsibility and consequences. Hopefully you will learn this before you become a parent. If you already are, I hope you learn soon. Bailing your kid out of jail and then proclaiming his innocence is as far from protecting a child--if you truly love him--as you can get. And I pray that I will never have to do this.

Jason is correct, it's sarcasm. AA is alcoholics anonymous, your version of AA is half the problem. How many are from Africa? My ancestors were Dutch, but you don't hear me telling people I am Dutch American. If you were born here, you are American. If you are a citizen, you are American. Drop the stupid hyphenations, that is what is driving our country apart.

As for the Muslims, I stand by my statement, the extremists were the ones cheering in the streets and burning our flags as our citizens were murdered by gutless cowards attacking unarmed individuals. They even murdered their own countrymen. And yet there was very, very little outrage over those attacks from the Muslim community--all 1 billion+ of them. If they were that horrified by those actions, those 1 billion people could throw out their 'religious' leaders who approved of the attack, because the 'extremists' are supposedly only 1%. So do give me the crap that they didn't approve of it, if they didn't condemn it, they approved of it.

Then go find me 1% of the Catholics that say pedophilia is OK and I'll agree with you. Until then, I stand by my statements. While we're at it, I find it absolutely reprehensible the way in which the Roman Catholic church has treated the whole matter.

All I can say after reading these comments is, "wow". Most of you people come on here to talk about subjects that do not even pertain to what occurred! Race is NOT an issue, nor is it an issue to bring up the "problems" all of you think each particular race has. Hopefully comment boards like this aren't a microcosm of what our society America is or we are truly a nation divided and heading into what will be the worst times for America yet this truly cannot be good. I also would like to say to Max and Mark..I appreciate reading comments from at least two people that's viewpoints were not parochial.
