What's really annoying is that all you people are doing is complaning, complaning, complaning, and not doing ANYTHING. Everyone needs to be proactive, whether you live in Wyoming or not. Get outside, walk the area, know your neighboors, open your doors and windows, and COMMUNICATE. I bet 1/2 of you people don't even know your neighboors names.
If you don't control your enviornment, then you are contributing to the violence, fear, hate and racism.

I live in a small to.wn(Coopersville) and when I'm home(most of the time, now-a-days thanks to gas prices) I look outside a lot and you can bet if I see someone suspicious-looking I keep an eye on them-I won't hesitate to call the police if needed. I hope others do the same.

What I do not understand is how you think the FEDERAL government plays into what is going on here at the State and LOCAL level? The Feds do issue money back to the State for roads, schools, and social programs. But the majority of police and fire protection funding comes from property taxes and local millages. I am so sick and tired of listening to people blaming Bush for all our troubles. No government is perfect, at any level; our Canadian governor has had over four years to fix this mess. I'm tired of waiting for her and our elected officials in Lansing to fix it. Bush and crew have many plenty of mistakes, but this isn't one of them, Michigan is in the shape it is in because of Lansing, period. Just keep your head in the sand. If you have an axe to grind write your elected officials and tell them to fix it; instead of busting my chops because I have different opinion than you do. So the answer to your second question is YOU are the problem. And yes I've smelled reality for over four years and not surprisingly it smells like S...!
