Review: Eddie Sports Bar & Grill

This bar used to be a lot of fun, but management is slowly ruining it. They seem to want to make it into a *dance* club or something. One of my friends got kicked out because he was wearing a baseball cap. It's a freaking SPORTS BAR what do you expect???? We won't be going back.

Speaking of new management, I LOVE IT. For you who thinks the bar in going downhill, you are WRONG. Lets try to keep poop opionions to ourself. Eddie's would never kick someone out for that. As for the club atmosphere, you are wrong. Its a great place to hang out.

Been there a few times. The first time we really liked it but the last two times the service wasn't very good and the food was not good either. I got wings last time and they tasted like the one's you get from the grocery store and put in the microwave. yuk.

If you ask me the bar use to be lots of fun. you can't smoke you can't wear hats what the hell it's a sports bar for chris sakes.

If you ask me the DJ is the best thing that happen to Eddies that boy can play.......

Actually, it's Bet'n Man and we're a blues band, and we just played at Eddie's last Friday night for their one year anniversary. It was a total blast! The audience was really lively, and we LOVED playing for an audience who really appreciated blues and some other oldies. This is one of the best things to hit Garland! It is everything anyone could ask for! A dance club, a sports bar, a restaurant and a place where everyone genuinely cares about you and knows your name. Me and my friends all enjoy being there and are always made to feel welcome, comfortable and safe! The DJ is amazing and the work that the manager, Mike is doing to renovate is great!

This place ROCKS. Lots of different people and that DJ kicks it. My new fav place. Haven't eaten there but Mike is great and it's a really happening place.

ACTUALLY,,,,, you are very wrong my friend. Eddie's will kick you out for wearing a cap but only on friday nights when they turn it into a nightclub atmosphere with a dj and dancing. i go every friday and they have even threatened ME. A friend was wearing a hat and they made him take it off,,, so I jokingly grabbed it and put it on sideways and said 'what is the big deal?' they looked at me and said 'if you dont take it off, you can leave.' I did so and just laughed it off. i don't understand it myself but oh well. I still go though cause i have a great time. Just don't wear a hat on fridays after 9pm,,, thats all i can say. Its worth it to me!

Why would someone from Keller, Tx be that adamant about a sports bar in Garland?? But yeah Eddie's has gone to hell. Was great when it first opened.
