This reminds me of the story in newsday about how 2 cops delivered a baby in the ER of stonybrook hospital..like the Doctors said "wait a minute, suffolk cops are here, better let them handle it!!"

" They are not called to the rescue. They must respond to all aided calls, this is the way the Suffolk 911 system, and most others are set up.I have had several refuse to help me lift a patient etc. And others who are very helpful.

Hey Now - you must have overlooked the part where the article described how one of the cops blew air into the babies mouth.
