If the chief put forth as much effort, care and respect for his career and colleagues with the city of De Pere as much as Captain Messerschmidt has, the chief would be the one on administrative leave and the honest genuine people would run the department.
There are a lot of outstanding officers in the city of De Pere, and this action is illogical, the De Pere community and PD is a weaker force without Mr. Messerschmidt.

I dealt with Messerschmidt on a road rage incident and he was worse than useless. Poor public service.
