Drug dealers in Worth

Whats with this cant anyone be busted anymore. This is ridiculous. Why wont Worth do something about this????

Why should they do anything except when they are called upon to do so. And if your so concerned about drug dealing make sure you provide the worth police department with your name as an eye witness so you also can testify in court.

Ive contacted the police numerous times and they say they still cant do anything unless they actually see it. I mean come on are you serious. How much longer is going to take them to actually open their eyes and start getting the trash out of here.

Then what are they gonna do if you keep calling finally do something. I hate it cause its right where I live and its just crazy that they arent doing anything Ive even described the people and the cars WTF is taking them so long to do something.

Call and ask to speak to the Police Chief himself. The officers can only do what they are assigned to do. They are so short staffed they do not have time to just sit outside and wait for something to happen. Complain to the mayor then he will get on the chief to do something. Its not the officers fault, they have to do what they are told.

Yeah the Cheif already knows its a nonstop action in our area and all you hear is that they are understaffed. If they did their job they wouldnt be understaffed and half of them losing their jobs. They need to see that the little kids are in danger here.

Then tell the mayor to not get rid of the villages services like the police dept. Things around town aren't going to get any better with less police on the street.

the police aren't gpoing anywhere that was a scare tactic to get us all to vote Yes on Home Rule... pass a refferendum. The biggest one was convincing us all that we'd go Cook County.. That got us all real excited.. and then they blame certain people in the community for spreading rumors to divert the attention of their true agendas. Raise taxes!! They did fill out the paper work to look into Cook County however Cook had never even responded to pour okea... because like the entire stae of Illinois they are broke too.. everyone is.. and we all are gonna have to tighten the belt and learn how to survive.

Drug Dealers are a problem is all of our section 8 apartments loss of jobs and rift raft... amazes me how we have been down and out near losing our own home and nver once stooped to selling drugs... Keep calling the cops as it happens and log everything ask who your talking to everytime.

Trust me I have every time I called them and what cops Ive talked to. Ive even talked to the landlord and that dont seem to work either. I dont even live in section 8 apartments either. These people need to go and the police have enough evidence.

It seems endless I know and in some ways their hands are tied too... but your watching and they'll slip up. Criminals have to many rights.. There are a few houses in Worth that are also Drug Houses everyone knows it but nothing is being done. The trick is to get them on a smaler charge.. open the door and get the ball rolling. Complaints keep coming the cops keep arriving they are bond to catch them. Dealers don't want to do buisness where cops keep coming nor to the addicts want to buy where they may get busted. Trusted neighbors can help with the calls!

I wish that were true Ive called at least 3 times before where you could actually smell what they were doing and the cops said they couldnt do anything. You know how frustrating this is..
