Please share with us which plants you have visited. I personally have worked at Prairie Island and the closed (though they still maintain a fuel pool) plant in Genoa, WI as a contractor at one time or another over the past 20 years.

Typically when people start reaching like your comments, they know they are not going to win an argument because they don't have anything else to offer...

So if you were inside of these plants how can you say the spent fuel pool is protected??? Did you work or visit with a BLINDFOLD covering your eyes???

Because I understand building engineering and facility protection. Something you obviously don't.

By the way, which plants were you in? What exactly do you do which would give you access to the fuel storage areas? People off the street don't just get to stroll into those areas...please enlighten us.

Well you must be a JIM DANDY of an engineer if you think a TIN ROOF and a GARAGE DOOR are all that is needed to protect spent fuel rods from a possible attack!!! Were you in on the design of the Grmlim, Edsel, and the Highway 35 bridge???

Green homeowner hit with noise abatement order because 40ft wind turbine is driving his neighbours madBy Chris Brooke
Last updated at 12:29 AM on 27th May 2009
When Stephen Munday spent £20,000 on a wind turbine to generate electricity for his home, he was proud to be doing his bit for the environment.
He got planning permission and put up the 40ft device two years ago, making sure he stuck to strict noise level limits.
But neighbours still complained that the sound was annoying - and now the local council has ordered him to switch it off.

Way to change your display name...very sneaky. Next time try to answer my questions. Until then, shut up. No one wants to hear it, and obviously no one else supports you here.

Answer what questions?? You act like you are such an authority of nuclear power plants how could you have any questions?? You couldn't tell a GE plant from a Snupps or a presurized water from a boiling water plant. Just like a sparrow all mouth and a s s .

Name calling - check
Spouting Googled names about power generating plants - check
Adding useful information or facts - avoided

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
