Would Jonas be that long with the military? One more mouth to feed and one more mouth to speak against them?

I won't be surprise if Jonas already dead. Mrs. Arroyo did not keep her word and ran against opposition bet Fernando Poe Jr. who was cheated of his victory, he added.

“The opposition and all freedom-loving Filipinos must prepare for the probability that Mrs. Arroyo will refuse to step down in 2010,” he said.

At the same time, Binay said Malacañang should drop its appeal for an end to politicking, saying its actions do not match its rhetoric.

“How can Malacañang convince the people of its sincerity in calling for an end to politicking when at every opportunity it plays the political card by bringing out their political allies for ‘unity walks’ with Mrs. Arroyo?” he said.

He cited as examples Executive Order 464, which prohibits ranking government officials from testifying before legislative inquiries without her approval, the unlawful suspension of local officials identified with the opposition, the attempts to muzzle the media and the abductions and political killings.

“The administration of Mrs. Arroyo is a regime that subverts the rule of law and has attempted several times to change the Constitution for selfish political ends. This must stop,” he said.

Binay added the opposition will intensify its campaign for the removal of Mrs. Arroyo from office.
