There's probably someone in everyone of your families that came here illegally. I care about all of humankind not just Americans. Good luck with your plan of blaming all of Americas problems on illegal aliens but make sure you start blaming your family first. And Thanks to bleeding heart jerks like you Americans are suffering! Stop with their human beings nonsense. A rapist is a human being would you want one to date your daughter! And anyone who came here before immigration laws were in effect were not illegal so you stuff that line too!

Anybody know how to get old X-rays from PVH? They say, "...evaluating providers...bla, bla" I've been waiting 2 months now. Where are these today, and how do I get them? Thanks

How to obtain medical records and/or radiology and mammography films
Please note that we are in the process of selecting long-term storage companies for all of our records and films. Due to the highly automated nature of record keeping systems at PVH, we are planning to engage 6-7 different companies who are capable of storing, maintaining and retrieving the information. Some of the systems require a customized software and hardware solution, along with highly trained IT staff, to support the on-going record keeping and retrieval tasks. We anticipate the selection process to be completed by the middle of January 2008. Once the selections are approved by the Bankruptcy Court, all records will be transferred to long-term storage companies by the end of March 2008.
In the meantime, we are not able to accept new requests for medical records and/or film releases. If you have already made the request, we will process them in the order in which they are received. When the records are ready, you will be notified by telephone or receive them by mail.
The long-term storage companies will be able to release medical records and films once they assume the responsibilities of safekeeping the records. Arrangements can be made to obtain copies of medical records/films or have them transferred to another health care provider by contacting the storage company directly. The name and contact information of the storage companies will be publicized through local media and the PVH website.
The digital mammography images produced at Pascack Valley Hospital from 2001 through November 21, 2007, will be made accessible at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey (1-877-holyname). The transfer of the digital records is expected to be completed by late January or early February. Please note that this is strictly for those mammograms produced by the “digital mammography system” at Pascack Valley Hospital. If you choose to make an appointment for your future mammograms at Holy Name Hospital (1-877-holyname), past PVH digital images will be accessible. Mammography exams performed using non digital technology which produced films, will be moved to a long term storage company for future storage and retrieval. This is expected to be completed by the end of January or early February.

so now that Hackensack is buying the hopital does that mean they have to hire all of the nurses back? we do have a union, HPAE, and i dont think Anne Twoomey will turn her back on us she never has before

Hacksensack will never allow a union. They see that it has recked PVH and other hospitals.

I have since moved away, and am curious as to the condition of the old building itself. I have seen a couple of generations born there. Is it even still standing? hopefully they are guarding it from vandals untill they can rebuild it or whatever they are going to do with it.

The PV Security Guards are still employed as well as some employees from the engineering dept. I think they had their contract renewed thru April.

I knew the CEO when he arrived from North Carolina to Stony Brook UH in 1985. He developed a rep as Sid Vicious. Nasty, not liked, not intelligent, and had many issues as you can see by his track record a UMDNJ and Chicago. How he got to be a CEO is beyond me! HE epitomizes the Peter Principal.

I just found out that the hospital will only be a medical school. It is just as well since the other area hospitals are muchh better anyways.

Since Hackensack took over PVH, they have been rebuilding the ER. At this time, Hackensack Security Guards working there. Renovations are being completed in the ER. It should be finished by the beginning of October'08. Updates are written up in the Record. This leads me to ask, will clerical/secretarial positions open up and will Hackensack give priority to those former PVH employees. What do you think? I have been out of a full time since the hospital started having major problems.

Hacksensack has sold the rights to a for profit company out of Texas. They will not give any priority to former employees. If I were you, I would apply to a better hospital in the area.
