There just aren't a lot of wonderful choices in this race. It seems no legitimate person wants the job.

I think this position should only be allowed a maximum of two four year terms. should not be a lifetime job. We need change, but seems nobody wants to go against the present sherriff.

Ron Ford told me that he is for term limits in all elected state and local offices. Definitely no more than three four year terms and then a person should never be able to hold that office again.

Tommy Flora did but lost the race...hope he runs again...I agree with you and there should be term limits on all elected positions. It should be an honor and a priviledge to serve as sheriff....not a right.

I would like to see a younger, skinnier, sexier Sheriff. Every time I see Gaines's bill board, I have to blink twice...is it an obituary or an add for J.C. Kerby and Son funeral home, oh no, its Sheriff politicking again!

Three four year terms is not term limits - One- all they should get. Otherwise they become owners of the public, not public servants

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
