Rhode Island could learn some lessons from Hawaii where
private beaches are not allowed. Hawaii beaches are publicly owned and private beachfront landowners must provide public access pathways to the beaches. I just visited R.I. and found fenced off private beaches very annoying. Beaches are national treasures that should be open to everyone, not just a select few. |
