'Vermonster' fights trademark battle

Forget David and Goliath. This fight's between Matt and Monster. The maker of Monster energy drinks has taken aim at a Vermont brewery that sells a beer called "The Vermonster," ordering it to stop selling, advertising and promoting the craft brew because it could confuse consumers.

I won't be buying Hanson and Monster products anymore, Some store's in Bennington should take Monster products of the shelves.

This is important. I think the coockiemonster was first and I might get confused, is it beer, a coockie or a energy drink? This is so stupid. There is room for everybody.

When they talk about frivilous lawsuits this tops the list. First, I don't know anyone who thinks about who is making their energy drinks or beer. Second, you have to be 21 to buy beer but not the energy drink and third they aren't even in the same aisle in the grocery store. This is a waste of money. No one is ever gonna wonder duh which came first Monster drink or Vermonster beer. If they do they are living a very boring life. Must be that west coast air.

I think the "Vermonster" ice cream sundae came first. Good thing the ice cream gurus aren't sue happy. Out of the three, if you want to expand your waist-line, I would choose the sundae.

NO NO NO NO this is not infringement nor is it confusing for customers, PLEASE take this to court and threaten a counter lawsuit on MONSTER for waiting your time. the 'Vermonster" is a specific name to itself. If you fight this, you will win...Find the Vermonster in yourself and do not let corporate America or some crappy energy drink tear you down!!!
