Judge Roy Bean is married and has three kids. His bio is on the 52-1 District Court website with a picture of him that betrays what an raging idiot he actually is in court. He didn't lose a daughter to a drunk driver.

Big Mac - Never appeared before or was sentenced by the Judge, son. Just find it amusing and also intolerable that the guy is allowed to operate with that level of anger and vitriol as an elected official. He abuses his powers as a judge and I've also seen the terd in action. The posts of some here who were victimized spurred my curiosity so I sat in a session which I mentioned above. I found him boorish and condescending to peple before him.
Also, he saves lives based on what? His Sobriety Court? I'll wager if you policed or audited those stats that his office puts out, you can find enough holes to drive a truck through to contradict their propaganda. So much for your argument, Big Mac. Throw in a large fries the next time I pass by your drivethrough window. You still on probation? |

1 i was mortified by his behavior in court this week. Without being able to say a single word, he spent 30 min telling 'who I was', what kind of person I was, and none of it was remotely accurate. As I stood there, never saying a word, he called me names, called me a liar (I had scientific evidence proving him wrong), belittled me, stared at me, told me I was a waste to society... and, of course, I couldn't respond. He fumbled with my file, after all of this, and couldn't figure out why I was initially there! He made comments about ordering a test that doesn't even exist! I've worked with many very difficult and law breaking people in my line of work, but have never ever seen anyone treated with such lack of dignity and disrespect. How exactly did he get voted in"? Forget, the "how did he get voted in" nonsense. mortified sounds even denser than MacKenzie. A victim yet someone who works with lawbreakers? LOL. |

I was a first offense for an open-container ticket i recieved because my boyfirend got an oui while driving my car. There was an empty beer bottle in backseat. I was a passenger & was ticketed because it was my car. Judge McKenzie screamed that I was a junkie that he knew a junkie when he sees one. I tested negative for alcohol so he presumed i prefer drugs. I was 52 at the time and only had one ticket my whole life - for expired plates. I was sentenced to 18 months probation,90/90 AA 3x week after,drug & alch. test every day 90hrs community service,9 months substance counseling. He berated & humiliated me for his own amusement. He thinks he is on TV. He is a nasty bully hiding behind a robe.

That sounds just like a 'Mac attack. Since I started paying attention to this I have been amazed at what this guy gets away with. Law enforcement loves him, because he is so strictly one sided. Wrong or right- the defendant is a "drug abusing piece of trash." BUT- Until local police realize that everyone in the "system" gives them ALL a bad name, they can sit and spin and wonder why they can not garner support (ie: money) from the community. As long as this guy is on the bench I will VOTE NO - an enthusiastically encourage from my student/parent population-- every request. --I just consider it my small part. |

I used to live in his sub. His neighbor accross the street got some sort of court rehab referralls from him as part of the sentenceing he handed out. She was the wife of a minister that liked to steal supplies from hospitals. |

I love reading all the gripes on this board. Take Sheila. Wow out of no where this judge just hammers her. And she did nothing to deserve it, just like Devon who accidently was arrested for drunk driving. Any one who is not a criminal and just reads this board will vote for him simply because of what you say about him. I want him sentencing you.

You all are probably correct in saying that a judges power goes to his/her head... however, it seems foolish when 95% of you can't even convey your thoughts without mutilating the English language. Don't get me wrong, as I agree for the most part... but PLEASE educate yourselves!!!

I see you are married to the judge... IDIOT. Obviously people shouldn't drink and drive... likewise, judges shouldn't be hypocrites and get "skate free" passes when they are pulled over drunk.(My brother is a Livingston Co. Sheriff, I KNOW!!!!!!) |
