Dj's my cousin, and deserves to do jail time, But that other kid was a passenger, and not the one controling that car. Fact is he was screaming for DJ to slow down, and let him out!
Just how the hell can anyone in their right mind say that kid is responsible for the actions of another person? I always thought that people around this part of the country had thier heads screwed on straight, but now I'm begining to think that maybe the way the rest of the world looks at people around here just may be right. It don't take but one bad apple to screw up the whole bunch!

P.S. I don't know why that post says I live in Elberfeld, IN.. I live right here in Johnson County... Right here in Van Lear infact!

I would like to know what is going on in the city of Paintsville? So many stories, about the tourism director, but why all the shifting of blame?

I blame the rest of his family, and friends for teaching him to do, and be the person he is becomming...We are all responsible for the things that happened. put the blame where it belongs, and get past your B.S.

It's sad how so many young adults, who live in Van Lear, become addicted to drugs. Something needs to help try and stop the drug problem that has plagued that community for so long! May God bless each and every one of the young adults that are growing up, in such a drug infested place.

I agree with you on that.but the paper says that she is fired and is no longer needed! I can't see anything that she did.

Van Lear. What about Flat Gap? It is the crystal meth capital of the county. Flat gap has alot more druggies than van Lear.
